GenFit: NASH Education Program (NEP)

Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is a growing epidemic. Haven’t heard of it? You aren’t alone. One of the greatest dangers of NASH is its ability to disguise itself among common comorbidities like type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and others. As a result, NASH often goes undiagnosed until liver damage is beyond repair.
Primary care physicians are on the front lines of disease awareness and management. That’s why French biopharmaceutical company, GenFit, launched the NASH Education Program (NEP) for healthcare professionals (HCPs). The core of the NEP program is an expansive disease education website designed to help raise awareness among HCPs about the disease, its diagnosis, treatment, management strategies, and more.
As a Senior Copywriter with Wunderman Thompson Health, I co-led a small team of writers and creatives working across our DC and NY offices through a full refresh of the NEP website. This involved an overhaul of their content organization and a full rewrite of the site’s copy to streamline the narrative and highlight key insights for HCP eyes.
